The process of weaving and printing means that there will be occasional variances within the fabric. We aim to provide our fabrics without any flaws, however the nature of printing and weaving means that this is not always possible. Teyssier applies the following tolerance levels: 1 fault per 5 metres of fabric ordered. An additional 20cm is added free of charge to your order if a fault is identified prior to despatch.

If the fabric has been cut or made-up then we cannot offer any refund. If your fabric has been produced specifically for your order or is a custom colour then we cannot accept returns.

In cases where you have purchased all the fabric we were holding in stock and therefore no cuts have been made in order to fulfil your order, we may accept the fabric as a return with a 20% restocking fee of the listed price per metre.

If we have had to cut your order from the stock then we may charge the standard 30% restocking fee of the listed price per metre plus an additional handling charge as we may not be able to sell the cut fabric on again.
      • Final production and colours
As our products are manufactured by individual mills we cannot guarantee the samples you received will match your final order.

For a chargeable fee we can send a cutting for approval (CFA) from stock. This stock can then be reserved for 10 days.

The ground cloth on which our fabrics are printed may vary slightly which can cause slight final printed colour changes. The manufacture of this ground cloth is not within our control and advise you take a cutting for approval (CFA) if the final colour is important for your project.

      • Fabric care
We recommend gentle dry clean only for our fabrics and a premium cleaning service which uses mild cleaning agents when possible. Please note that even gentle dry cleaning may cause our fabrics to fade or shrink.

We use mainly natural fibres and our printed fabrics use water-based pigment inks which cannot be guaranteed against fading, especially if in direct sunlight, south facing windows or strong moonlight. In some atmospheric conditions shrinkage of up to 5% can be expected within the length and width.

We offer suggestions of usage for our fabrics on our website but if you are considering using one of our fabrics for an area of higher wear or for commercial use then do please contact us to discuss further.
